Guatemala City: Photos from Safe Passage

Over spring break a group of Barnard and Columbia students from Columbia Students for International Service (CSIS) traveled to Guatemala to volunteer for a program called Safe Passage.

Digital cameras were donated to the photography club there, comprised of youths whom had never been outside of their immediate neighborhoods. The prints from their assignment - a comparison of the urban and rural  environs  in and around Guatemala City -  are now installed at Barnard Library, and can be viewed throughout the summer and early fall.
