Further, because Wikipedia’s contributors skew  white, cisgender, heterosexual, and male, we seize this opportunity to counterbalance that inequity with diverse voices from within Barnard’s community. Held in partnership with members of Wikimedia NYC, this event will teach the fundamentals of creating and editing in Wikipedia and increase access to scholarship surrounding the Heresies Collective and related artists of the period. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments shall be served!  Check out the Facebook event page and RSVP on the Wikipedia Meetup page.
