Hana Rivers is the Post Baccalaureate Fellow at the Center for Engaged Pedagogy and a recent graduate of Barnard College, where she majored in English, concentrated in Creative Writing, and minored in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her research interests include experimental Asian American literature, memory work, and the intersections between U.S. and Philippine imperialisms. She is passionate about using peer-to-peer teaching models to deconstruct hierarchies in academic settings. At the CEP, she creates website content, assists with graphic design, and facilitates community learning around anti-racist teaching strategies.
