Join us for a screening of the new documentary about Afro-Argentine history, Maria Presente: La Memoria en Nuestras Voces and a Q&A with director, Julia Cohen Ribeiro. Following the screening will be the launch of the Afro-Argentine diaspora oral history collection with founders Julia Cohen Ribeiro and Tatiana Bryant, and a Q&A with Barnard student contributors Mila Lin Tabach, Manuela Moreyra, and Destiny Arias, moderated by Barnard associate professor Tamara Walker.
