Chargers

  • Check out phone and laptop chargers at the Circulation & Help Desk on the 2nd floor. We offer two-hour checkout of chargers for iPhones, USB-C

Media Viewing

  • Check out DVD/CD-Rom drives and/or headphones for a two-hour checkout from the Circulation & Help Desk on the 2nd floor.
  • Watch DVDs or VHS tapes or listen to cassette tapes at our two Media Viewing Stations at carrels on the southwest side of the 2nd floor collections area, near the media collection. For help - and to check out headphone jacks or remote controls to access DVD menu screens, ask us at the Circulation & Help Desk.

Cameras, Audio Recorders & Other Media Equipment

Instructional Media and Technology Services (IMATS) loans out media equipment to Barnard College & Columbia University-affiliated students, faculty, and staff for projects related to curriculum/college events. Equipment includes cameras, audio recorders, lights, projectors, tripods, stabilizers and more. 

To borrow equipment from IMATS, you must make a request at least 24 hours in advance. We recommend reviewing the IMATS policies before reserving equipment.
