Find & Borrow

The high-level highlights: Any student, faculty or staff member can borrow from our books, media and circulating zines.  We have a one-semester loan period for books. We forgive all fines incurred on our materials (speak to the help desk for more information).

The Barnard Archives and Special Collections collects and makes accessible materials that document campus and academic life at Barnard, as well as histories of feminism and dance.

zine, short for fanzine or magazine, is a DIY* subculture self-publication, usually made on paper and reproduced with a photocopier or print. Our zines consists primarily of zines written by women with an emphasis on zines by women of color, as well as zines on feminism and femme identity by people of all genders.
