Find & Borrow

Borrowing at Barnard

The high-level highlights: Any student, faculty or staff member can borrow our books, media and circulating zines. Regularly circulating materials have a one-semester loan period with unlimited renewals. Barnard materials do not incur fines.

Archives & Special Collections

The Barnard Archives and Special Collections collects and makes accessible materials that document campus and academic life at Barnard, as well as histories of feminism and dance.

Zines

zine, short for fanzine or magazine, is a DIY* subculture self-publication, usually made on paper and reproduced with a photocopier or print. Our zines consists primarily of zines written by women with an emphasis on zines by women of color, as well as zines on feminism and femme identity by people of all genders.
