Online or in Person. Pizza and refreshments will be served! The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem is devoted to the research, preservation, and exhibition of materials focused on African American, African Diaspora, and African experiences. The Library for the Performing Arts houses one of the world's most extensive research collections in the fields of theater, film, dance, music, and recorded sound. And the Flagship location of The New York Public Library, the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building is renowned for its extraordinary historical collections and for its divisions devoted to Jewish History, Maps, Genealogy and the History of New York and so much more. Each Library will highlight collections related to the history of social activism It’s all nearby, it’s all free, each one has deep archival collections in addition to their other materials, and each one has deeply knowledgeable librarians who can work closely with you.
