As the 2020-2021 Post-Baccalaureate Fellow for the Vagelos Computational Science Center (CSC), Katie was essential in the transition of the CSC to remote programming.  She coordinated, developed, and taught virtual events and workshops while maintaining impressive registration numbers. Among these, Katie taught two workshops at NYC Open Data Week hosted by the Mayor's Office of Data Analytics, BetaNYC, and Data Through Design, which you can learn more about here. She helped inaugurate the CSC’s Computing Fellows Program, which brings computing into Barnard courses through pairing Computing Fellows with attached courses in a variety of roles.

“I loved having the opportunity to work with Barnard students through my role,” Katie said.  “Barnard students inspire me with their eagerness to learn and their activeness in seeking out learning experiences, their excitement with helping their peers and having a positive impact on the broader world, and their limitless imagination.”

We wish Katie the best of luck in all her future endeavors!
