Karina Caballero Gonzalez
Karina Caballero is a Mexican anti-disciplinary architect and curator based in NY. Her practice moves between curatorial research, archival work, and public programming, focusing on how architecture and visual culture intersect with memory, migration, and human rights. She is currently a candidate in the Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices program at Columbia University's GSAPP, where she also serves as a Research Assistant. There, she completed an internship with the Primary Sources Program at Avery Drawings & Archives, working on the Chip Lord collection, where she processed and catalogued the physical material and developed the collection's intellectual organization for future researchers. In Mexico, she led communications at Rozana Montiel Estudio de Arquitectura (2016 to 2021) and later served as curatorial coordinator for Proyector, an architectural curatorial platform.
