Skye Chilberg

Skye is a graduate student and bartender living in Brooklyn. She is currently about halfway through her studies at CUNY Queens College, where she is enrolled in the dual MLIS / MA in History program with a focus on archives and on materialist film and fashion histories. She is originally from the Seattle area but spent her 20s in the Bay Area working in nightlife and as a community organizer, before moving to New York for grad school. Her previous experience in archives and libraries include working as a Graduate Library Fellow at the Center for Fiction and the 2025/2026 Archives Intern at The Whitney Museum.
