In the fall semester of 2017 Personal Librarians (PLs) kept themselves busy supporting Barnard, Columbia, and extended community members' research--among other things.
Over four months, your average, run-of-the-mill personal librarian responded to nearly 39 reference questions, led ten library or zine library sessions, and gave more than 66 consultations. Barnard Librarians are simultaneously exhausted and excited just thinking about those numbers!
